In honour of Israel's 60th birthday the Jewish Community Centre of Greater
Vancouver and the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver have created
"Israel @ 60", a city wide celebration that will showcase Israel's accomplishment /s
Join in the celebration Sunday, September 14th, 12 - 6, at Lumberman's Arch in
Stanley Park, and enjoy the live music, dancing, food, children's activities, mini
film festival, Israeli shuk, teen zone and educational workshops.
A special feature will be a performance by Israeli singer and songwriter Pavlo

Sales Coordinator
Shalom BC seeks a Sales Coordinator to lead a successful campaign to generate funding
for the production and distribution of the Jewish Life: A Guide to Jewish Life in British Columbia,
2009-2010 Olympic Edition publication.
"The Guide" is a biennial project of Shalom BC.
It is a community listing of all Jewish organizations and services, and is distributed to over
8,000 Jewish homes around the province. This is a free service to newcomers and existing members
of the Jewish community in Vancouver and in British Columbia.
The Sales Coordinator will develop, implement, and facilitate a sales campaign that will assist in
the recruitment of advertisers and donors for the 2009-2010 edition of the Jewish Life Guide.
The term of this contract will be for a period of 16 weeks.
