Hello, and welcome to Shalom BC.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those who are new to British Columbia.
Through our and WelcomeBC’s efforts, we hope to make the transition to life in our province as easy as possible.
When you first arrive, please feel free to call our offices and set up an orientation meeting with one of our helpful volunteers, who will be able to answer many of the questions you might have, along with providing some helpful advice and services.
Many of our volunteers have lived in B.C. for quite a while, and would be more than happy to share their “insider knowledge".
Also, make sure to explore our website. We have a comprehensive Community Guide with names, businesses and contact information, along with activity guides and other things to enhance your visit.
We are happy to answer any questions you might have, and welcome the opportunity to make your transition an easy one.
